Costs and Booking
You can book me on a daily rate of £120 per day for personal coaching/leadership, or for any provided courses.
Or £20 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours
More than 20 miles from Macclesfield will have an aditional charge of 40 pence per mile travel.
Conditions
Over 18’s only, unless accompanied by an adult
The course fees include instruction only. On many of our courses there may be a water fee to pay at the venue we use and NGB certificate fees.
Equipment charges are separated out as many of the people attending our courses will already own their own gear.
Full payment is required at the time of booking
Any associated water fees or NGB certificate fees will be paid directly to the relevant bodies at the time of the course.
Cancellations
Cancellations may be made more than 14 days before the start of the course
Full refund less 20 pounds or 50% of the course fee whichever is smaller.
No refund will be given for cancellations made less than 14 days before the start of the course although we
may in some circumstances rearrange you onto another course.
We reserve the right to:
Cancel a course should numbers fail to reach a viable minimum number. A transfer or full refund will be made.
Request that a participant that does not meet the course criteria withdraw.
Where courses are curtailed by adverse weather, we will suggest either an alternative dates or a partial
or full refund according to circumstances.
All participants should be able to swim 25 metres in light clothing.
All course members must comply with safety regulations and instructions by the instructor.
Kit List
The following is a guide on what you need to bring for most of our courses.
What’s included if you are hiring equipment from us:
- Boat
- Paddle
- Buoyancy aid
- Helmet
- Spray Deck
What you will need to bring in addition:
- Spray cag’ or waterproof
- Warm cloths to wear on the water e.g. fleece top, thermals, sweat shirt etc.
- Trainers to wear in the boat, preferably lightweight
- Change of cloths for when you get off the water
- Towel
- Warm drink and food
- Money for launch fees if applicable (this ranges between 3 and 7 pounds)
If you are using your own equipment please ensure that you have the following:
- Boat – must be fitted with buoyancy bags
- Buoyancy aid
- Paddle
- Spray deck
- Helmet
- Spray top or cag’
- Wetsuit or dry trousers, thermals etc.
- Wetsuit or boots
- Change of clothes
- Towel
- Launch fees if applicable (this ranges between 3 and 7 pounds)
- Hot drink and snacks for lunch in dry container
